Hello everyone. My family & I have been involved with rescue for approximately 20years now. Due to difficult & emotional circumstances that have happened in my life, I suffer with PTSD & depression. The best therapy I have ever received comes with 4legs, fur, & a wagging tail! I have rescued in all forms of weather & circumstances. The greatest joy I experience is having a furbaby come to me scared, hurt, or afraid  & helping them overcome all that to become a loving, happy, tail wagging member of a new furever family!

I have 4 amazing furkids of my own. Gracie, Raider, Ozzy, & Gypsy All of them have their own story that has made them who they are today. Every one of them are a rescue baby! The reason I named this group Buddy's Bandits is after two incredible furbabies of mine that have crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Buddy was a white lab mix. When I 1st got him in 2006 I could tell he had been abused in the past. Slowly & with lots of love, he became a dog that everyone had wanted. I, of course, had the pleasure of being his momma! He passed away May 2011. Bandit was a Coon Hound mix. I only had him for a couple of months before he was hit by a car & crossed the Bridge a mile away from the 24hr vet. I wanted to honor these two amazing boys by helping other furkids that are abandoned, homeless, hurt, & afraid. So I hope you follow our journey as we try to do our best at  "Healing Hearts & Educating Minds, One Animal at a Time"
