FOSTER!!!!

Do you want to help make a difference in an animal's life but don't want a lifetime commitment yet??? Fostering is the way to go! Buddy's Bandits will cover medical, food, & provide a crate if needed. Fostering will give the animal a chance to see how living in a home is meant to be. It will provide the animal a chance to get socialized before going to their furever home. Providing a temporary home reduces stress for a furbaby in need. Fostering is one of the most rewarding experiences you can have. Providing a temporary home frees up a spot so we may take another animal in our care. We also learn more about the animals behavior so we can find the perfect home for them. Our rescue is 100% foster based at this time. We do not have a facility so we rely on fosters to help out. If you would like to know more or sign up to be a foster, please contact us at Buddysbanditsrescue@gmail.com or look us up on Facebook under buddysbandits2016

Spay & Neuter!!!

Other than helping control the overpopulation, did you know there are plenty of benefits to spay or neuter your furbaby??

Spaying is the surgical removal of the reproductive organs of females & neutering is the surgical removal of the male reproductive organs.

Both are done under complete anesthesia. Depending on your vet & your pet's health most animals come home the same day. Any questions about the surgery please ask your vet!

  • Spay & Neuter helps your dog live a longer, healthier life.

  • Spaying & Neutering reduces, or can eliminate, a number of health problems that are difficult &/or expensive to treat.

  • Spaying greatly reduces the chance of mammary cancer, especially if your dog is spayed before her 1st estrous cycle, & also eleminates the possibility of uterine or ovarian cancer.

  • Neutering will decrease the possibility of prostate disease & eliminates testicular cancer.

  • Spaying/Neutering makes your dog a better, more affectionate companion.

  • Neutering dogs makes them less likely to spray & "mark territory".

  • Spaying a dog eliminates her heat cycle, which lasts an average of 6 to 12 days, twice a year. Females in heat can get blood on your furniture, exhibit nervous behavior, & attract unwanted male dogs to your home.

  • Dogs that are not sterilized often have more behavior & temperament problems than dogs that have been spayed or neutered.

  • Neutering makes dogs less likely to wander looking for females or get into fights.

The cost to spay or neuter your dog is relatively low if you consider all the benefits you & your dog will reap over their lifetime, as well as the satisfaction of knowing you are doing your part to prevent the birth of even more unwanted animals.
